Inspired by the blue Papillo Ulysses butterfly of Indonesia and the green Ornithoptera Priamus Poseidon from New Guinea. Imago is the adult stage of a butterfly or other insect. It also represents an unconscious representation of a love developed in childhood.
Jay is a Past President of Phoenix Rotary 100. Art is a hobby and he tries to apply creativity to music, oil painting, software programming, 3D CAD design, business processes, and now - butterfly art. He says his inspiration for his design is simply looking at the amazing variety and complexity of real butterflies.
