Jim Covarrubias is a native of Kingman, AZ, BFA and MFA from ASU. CEO of Ariztlan, Inc. Director and Curator for "La For Del Pueblo" a mural project for APS featuring the history of Grant Park Neighborhood on the walls of APS's Substation in Grant Park. Jim is profiled on the Phoenix Art Museum website under the Community section titled "In his own words".
His studio is located in the Icehouse, 429 W. Jackson, PHX 85003. He is the author of a Native- American opera "Kokopelli the Legend" and was Arts Editor for the Veterans Magazine and Indian Country Today. His movie trailer "Sage Woman- movie trailer is available on You Tube.
